As we approach the commencement of a new session in the life of our church, it is worth noting that our contract cleaners - Attention to Detail - have advised that in other church premises within which they operate, a comments book is available. This allows feedback on the operation of the cleaning, to ensure the smooth operation of the cleaning service, whilst allowing for the delivery of the best possible cleaning service during the nine hours per week (Monday Wednesday and Friday early in the morning) for which we use their services.

After consideration, it has been agreed that such an arrangement could be useful, and accordingly a comments book has been placed in the Vestibule of the church adjacent to the flower rota order to allow for feedback to our cleaners, and office bearers, on the operation of the service. It is hoped that this initiative will allow for the best possible use of our cleaning resource, and accordingly the book should be used for comment rather than complaint.

As a further point, all users of the Church are reminded of the existence of a health and safety related incident book within which any health and safe incident should be recorded to ensure formal awareness of the incident so that any necessary consequent action can take place. The book is located within the kitchen adjacent to its entrance on the right hand side.
